Children’s Sunday School
During Sunday School at Aldersgate, children ages 3 to 5th grade, are invited to dive deep into God’s word. We’ll have adventures, hear exciting Bible stories, and learn how to live as disciples of Jesus through service – just like Jesus taught!
Children can be dropped off in the basement 10 minutes before Sunday School begins. Because we value the safety of our children we have instituted a new computerized check-in system. This system requires that you check-in your child and get a nametag. Checking your child into Sunday School help to ensure the safety of our children, as well as provide peace of mind for parents leaving their children in our care. The check in system and nametag printer are located in the at the bottom of the stairs.
If you are new to Aldersgate please register above, so we have your information into our system making check-in quick and easy.
Our Curriculum this year is “Deep Blue Connects: At Home with God” This curriculum helps families grow in faith together as children take what they’ve learned in Sunday school and dive deeper into the stories at home with their families. Children will explore families in the Bible, build loving relationships, and find out what it means to be part of God’s family!

Deep Blue offers meaningful and engaging curriculum, encouraging children to “dive deeper” into the Bible and explore their faith in fun and age-appropriate ways.

Volunteers at Aldersgate who work with children and youth have completed special training through a Biblically-based boundary awareness and abuse prevention program.

Third Grade Bibles
Each fall, we continue the Methodist tradition of presenting all of our 3rd grade students with a Bible of their very own. As their faith family we are excited to provide this age appropriate Bible and our prayer is that this gift will help them grow deeper in their relationship with God.
The presentation ceremony will take place during a worship service in the month of September. Please sign your 3rd Grade child up using the form below.
This is a great opportunity to celebrate a faith milestone in your child’s life. Make it memorable!
Sign up is REQUIRED so we can create a personalized bookplate for each child to place in their Bible. Sign your child up even if they can not attend the service but would still like a Bible.
